Treatise of Ghent

Oh beautiful Ghent. So much more than a treaty.

And I came to that traveler moment on the tram in Antwerp, when I had to wonder if it was the homeless lady chatting with herself or me who smelled. Maybe us both. I would like to think it was her though.

Time to wash my clothes in fair Ghent's canals. I spent my evening staring at the reflections of ziggurat churches reflect in said canals. Utterly beautiful.  Something Escher would have appreciated as I stared at the reflections of brings making full ellipse in the mirrored image and otherwise. The leveled building tops reflected in the canal like a Klimt dream.

I recount this while the frauleins in my dorm in the hostel chatter on.
