On American Soft Power in Paris

The French love America.  They always have, and they always will.  Parisians love New York because they think it is the only city cooler than Paris.  They love Brooklyn.  They love two things specifically now: food trucks and hamburgers.  There are only three food trucks in Paris, and they are all American-owned.  There are hour-long waits for them.  And there is a burger craze in Paris now. Everyone is looking for the best burger.  That is absolutely an American thing, not French.
-Christophe, to moi.

PS: Probably drank almost all of these: America's cheap beer, ranked. Only Pabst Blue Ribbon is Tibet's favorite. Kudos to PBR for being the Lama's choice, and gastrodiplomacy fodder.
