I saw the movie Django Unchained last night. True pulp fiction. It was entertaining. It was bloody, in a comical fashion. The dialogue was Tarantino-esque. I heard the N-word more times than I ever care to. It was an entertaining flick. One that was worth the price of admission, and kept my attention for the roughly 3 hours it was on the silver screen. It is also a bit controversial for its alternative history, for its graphicness and for its vocabulary. The New Yorker addresses all these issues well in the article Tarantino Unchained.
